About the Event
Chris Benson, Johnny Hannegan and Campo Di Bocce Return to Host...2025 St Patrick’s Day Event.
For many years, CB Hannegan’s held a St Paddy’s Day celebration in downtown Los Gatos. This year Chris Benson, Johnny Hannegan and Campo Di Bocce will host the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration together as a fundraiser for Los Gatos Music in the Park and the Los Gatos Police Foundation. The event will be held on St Patrick’s Day proper Monday March 17 th 2025. Following the annual golf tournament, Johnny Hannegan, will join the Prince Charles Bagpipe band to kick off the day long festivities.
“We couldn’t be happier to host the St. Patrick’s Day event at Campo Di Bocce….there’s a long history in this in town and we are honored to be a part of the tradition with these guys” said Ben Musolf of Campo Di Bocce. Chris Benson and the Bodacious Barbeque Team will be behind the original CB Hannegan’s grill serving up Corned Beef and Cabage, three kinds of Sausages, Shepard’s Pie and all the fixings.
We are looking forward to raising a glass and reminiscing over old stories while toasting to the making of new memories and songs. Live music will feature headliners Black Irish Band, a hard-hitting Irish/Folk quartet playing gold rush and sea music that celebrates the rich stories of the immigrants and working class that built America. The Sorry Lot will also be performing their array of sea shanties and traditional songs with a dramatic and entertaining charisma that never fails to delight an audience.
The Bands

THE SORRY LOT
The Sorry Lot are an eight-piece Irish Folk and Ballad band from Napa, California. They deliver lively renditions of traditional drinking songs, as well as a few modern ballads and original tunes, while keeping the music true to it's roots in the pubs and bars of Ireland. Named after a snarky comment from a British bartender, the band was formed in 2007 by members of several local bands who shared a passion for Irish Folk music. Their energy and showmanship stems from their Punk Rock and Reggae backgrounds, but their music remains Irish through and through.

THE BLACK IRISH BAND
Hard-hitting Irish Folk, Gold Rush, and Sea music that celebrates the rich stories of the immigrants and working class that built America.
For over 34 years, the Black Irish Band has created an original sound that no other band has, singing stories of surly miners, salty mariners, and the men and women of California’s early immigration. With over 600 concert performances to date and airplay around the world, the band has kept very busy spreading their brand of progressive folk music to a large audience.

PRINCE CHARLES PIPE BAND
Hannigan's Piper's, some old some new, but all draped in kiltz and blowing bagpipes. Ken Sutherland has assembled a group of pipers and drummers to carry on the unique tradition.
